General Information

All orders and delivery timescales are subject to product availability.

What couriers do we use

The main couriers we use are Royal Mail & DPD who offer a tracked delivery service as standard. These couriers are fully integrated with our internal IT systems which means you will receive an email/text with your tracking details as soon as your parcel is despatched. We may use other couriers or postage companies at our discretion without prior warning or consent. Collection from our Cambridgeshire based factory is also available.
Please note: The delivery postcode and contents of the order will determine which delivery methods are available at checkout. A signature is required for all deliveries from Pro-Race exhaust systems.

Dispatch timescale

All our exhausts are hand made to order, although we do produce some stock this is not a guarantee. Providing goods are in stock, and we have received payment in full, we endeavour to dispatch orders on the same day providing the order is place before the specified cut-off time (1 PM Monday – Thursday (10:30 AM Friday). if the order is not is stock please see the displayed lead-times on the product page for guidance.

Delivery timescale

A delivery time will be indicated to you upon checking out. We offer multiple delivery methods. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of dispatch, not the order date.
Please note that once a parcel is despatched from our factory it is beyond our control, as we rely on third party couriers to delivery your items on time. Due to this, we cannot guarantee delivery times regardless of which delivery method is used.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are determined from the contents of your basket and the delivery destination. To find out the carriage charge for your potential order, simply add all of the items to your basket and then proceed to the basket page. Once on this page, there is the option to estimate delivery charges. Please enter the destination country, region and post/zip code. You will then be provided with all of the available delivery methods.

How do I track my order?

You can track your package simply by going to the chosen couriers website your item was sent with using the tracking number that is sent to you via email once the order has been completed and shipped. If however the system isn't yet complete or shipped, it's likely still being processed or manufactured and you're welcome to get in touch with us via email, message or telephone to find out the status of your order.

Can I change my order?

Sooner rather than later please!

If your exhaust is still in the manufacturing phase then there is a chance that we can modify your order. Changing the sleeve, colour or adding or removing mesh.
But if this is something you want to do or you're even unsure about or have questions, please get in touch ASAP and we'll get the order amended or assist you as best we can!

Will I have to pay import fees/duties

When goods are imported into a different country or customs territory, there can be a charge applied called 'Customs Duty' that is charged by the local customs authority where the goods are being imported into.

If Customs Duty is required by your territory, you'll be responsible for paying it to the authorities. Whether Customs Duty is payable, and by how much, depends on your countries specific regulations.

If you do have to pay Customs Duty though, the amount payable is usually calculated based on the value of the goods and the type of goods being imported.

All international deliveries will NOT be charged UK VAT, but may be subject to local import tax and duties including VAT in the EU and the customer is liable for these.

How much is shipping?

It doesn't fit?

in the unlikely event your system doesn't fit, please check these things before getting in touch....

1. Does your bike have a de-cat pipe?

If it does it's likely ours won't fit, in some cases it does. But 9/10 de-cat pipes are manufactured to sit in different locations to lock you into one brand.

2. Does your cat have a gasket fitted?

If it does have a gasket, please remove it! We do not use gaskets in the fitting of most of our exhausts. Over time they perish and this can make the exhaust unstable and unsafe, the bare metal contact between the slip on and the cat creates a much better bond for the clamp.

3. Are you sure you got the correct year/model?

It may seem like a silly question but it happens more often than you'd think, but don't worry. You're not the first you wont be the last!

If you've checked all these and there still seems to be an issue, take some photos and send them to info@pro-race.co.uk with the subject FITMENT ISSUE along with your order number and we'll get back to as soon as we can.

How do I clean my exhaust?

Clean the exhaust with a multi-purpose spray lubricant like WD-40 and a soft cloth. Do not use aggressive chemical cleaners on a the metal or carbon fibre parts!

A change in the colour of the exhaust system is normal due to the high temperatures the material will change colour.

What does 'Add Mesh' mean?

Adding mesh is simply us welding mesh to the outlet of your system, very similar to the look on a moto GP bike. This is purely an aesthetic feature and will have no affect on sound or performance. But will stop foreign objects going into the system in the event of a crash.

Can I get a new sticker?

Of course you can! You may want some extras for your bike/helmet or toolbox. They're available on our store in the merchandise section.

I've damage my exhaust, can you repair it?

This is entirely dependant on how bad the crash damage is...
If you're able to get some photos of the damage and send it over to us we'll be able to let you know instantly if it's something we can repair or whether it will need replacing.

If it is something we can salvage, we'll get you quoted up and let you know exactly what needs doing. Following that, you'll just need to pop it in the post and once it arrives we'll get it repaired and back to you sharpish!

Technical

What's the exhaust made of?

Our Systems are made from the highest grade Titanium and Stainless Steel.
Please note that if you purchase a Titanium system, it's full Titanium! All internals, fittings, sleeve and link pipe! Unless you choose a carbon sleeve, then you've got a sprinkle of carbon fibre too.
The same goes for our Stainless Steel systems.

Why Titanium?
It's extremely light aswell as being very strong and durable.
The material can also withstand extreme temperatures without warping or degrading. The only thing that will happen is the colour will change with the heat. This is perfectly normal and will constantly change with each heat cycle.

We won't claim to have the lightest exhausts on the planet, but when some of our Slip-ons weigh under 200grams... we know we probably could!

What is 'Laser Etched' ?

Laser etching is what we do to our Metal sleeve exhausts and GP-S1's. We have a CNC Laser machine that we use to engrave our Logo onto each and every exhaust so you know exactly where it was made and that it's got our seal of approval! If you order a Carbon fibre sleeve exhaust, unfortunately we can't etch that as the carbon would just melt. But you'll have a sticker in place of the etching. More stickers can be found here --> www.pro-race.co.uk/merch

How loud is the exhaust?

This is a very difficult question to answer. But we do our best to get all sound data, stock DBs and DBs with our systems and baffles etc, to give you the most comprehensive set of numbers so you can get some idea of how loud it will be. Though with the laws being very strict on production bikes now, a slip-on isn't going to wake the neighbours and will still pass an MOT here in the UK.However if you have a de-cat system this question is much harder to answer... so check the DBs we have available along with any other info including videos.

How much more BHP will I get?

Another difficult question to answer!
With just a slip-on you'll likely get very minimal gains. Possibly 1-3bhp.

With a de-cat or full system followed by a dyno run and a great map the gains can be massively different!

With our Full Race Systems we put the work in to make sure that you're getting the most out of your system, meeting requirements for Track/Race days all while keeping the power optimal throughout.

But bikes do have slight variation from the factory, and dynos run completely different in certain conditions. So if Bob from Facebook is claiming 70bhp gains from a slip-on take it with a pinch of salt.
Any kind of gains in bhp and Torque are a win, and we're confident that every system we ship will give your bike a little boost!

What does Pie-cut mean?

What is it and why do we do it...

With most exhaust companies, when it comes to putting any kind of a bend in an exhaust system, they'll take the easy route and put it in a machine and simply bend the tube. In our opinion this is lazy, doesn't look good and over a full system/de-cat will restrict power.
Pie-Cuts on the other hand, are essentially different angles cut one by one and welded together to create an angle/bend. Creating a much more precise system and vastly better looking link pipes/systems that have visible craftsmanship.
Over the length of a full system this will also give you more power as there are no pinch points and no restricted gas flow, check the systems on a MotoGP bike, are they Mandrel bent or Pie-Cut?
